Forklift Technician – Road or Shop

Job description

This is an opportunity to join a well established Forklift and Aerial equipment company that is continually growing for the last 30 years. As a technician on our team, you will travel the Chicago land area to customer locations for routine maintenance and repairs. Techs are responsible for effectively diagnosing issues, repairing lifts, and communicating with customers in a courteous manner.

Requirements:

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in industrial or automotive industries.
  
• Dependable technician that is willing to learn and has a strong work ethic.
  
• Has excellent customer service and organizational skills.
  
• Valid drivers license with a clean record and has basic mechanic tools.
  
• Able to read, speak, and comprehend English.
• Neat and clean appearance.
  
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed.
  
• Electrical experience a plus.
